Electric gate lead generation
Automated gate enquiries from the driveways worth quoting for.
Home Service Installs runs local Facebook and Instagram advertising for UK electric and automated gate installers, on a dedicated landing page built around the gate work you want — not the repair calls you don't.

What makes automated gates different to advertise
Gates are one of the strongest categories for local social advertising, for a straightforward reason: the audience is physically identifiable. A homeowner needs a driveway, and usually pillars or a wall, before an automated gate is even possible. That's a much narrower, wealthier group than “homeowners”, and the properties tend to sit in recognisable pockets of a county.
The purchase is emotional as well as practical. Security is the stated reason — deliveries, dogs, children, a van on the drive — but the finished look of the entrance is usually what tips someone into enquiring. Video works unusually well here. A ten-second clip of a gate sliding open smoothly outperforms almost any written advert.
Job value is the other reason this category suits paid advertising. Between the gate itself, automation, safety edges, an intercom and any groundworks, a completed installation can be several thousand pounds. One won job can comfortably justify a month of sensible ad spend — which is not true of every trade.
The complication is scope. “Automate my existing wooden gates” and “design, supply and fit new sliding gates with an intercom and card reader” arrive through the same advert unless you ask the right questions. So we ask them upfront.

The questions we ask gate enquiries
Site visits are expensive. These answers tell you which ones are worth booking.
New gates or automation
Whole installation, or motorising what's already there.
Swing or sliding
Often decided by the drive, not the preference.
Existing pillars or posts
The difference between a fit and a project.
Rough opening width
A ballpark figure is enough to sanity-check the spec.
Power at the entrance
Flags whether an electrician needs involving.
Postcode, timescale, budget band
So you can prioritise the right site visits.
Your enquiries, not a shared list
Gate enquiries are valuable, which is exactly why they get sold around. With many pay-per-lead services the same homeowner is contacted by several installers within the hour, and the conversation becomes about price before anyone has seen the driveway.
Here, the advert is yours, the landing page is yours, and the enquiry comes to you. Home Service Installs does not resell it.
