Loft boarding lead generation

Loft boarding jobs. Not loft conversion tyre-kickers.

Home Service Installs runs local Facebook and Instagram advertising for UK loft boarding companies, built around storage jobs you can actually fit in a day or two — with the conversion enquiries filtered out before they reach your phone.

What makes loft boarding different to advertise

Loft boarding solves a problem almost every family home has and nobody talks about: too much stuff, nowhere sensible to put it, and a loft that's either full of squashed insulation or a couple of terrifying planks laid across the joists.

Two things make it a good fit for social advertising. First, it's an unprompted purchase — people don't search for “raised loft boarding”, they see it and realise it's a thing they could have. Second, the before-and-after is unusually satisfying: a dark, unusable loft turned into a clean, lit, walkable storage room photographs brilliantly.

The specialist angle matters as well. Modern boarding on raised legs above the insulation is a genuinely different product to boards screwed straight onto the joists, and most homeowners have no idea until someone explains it. That explanation is a very effective advert, and it justifies a higher price than the man with a van.

The main filtering job is loft conversions. They look adjacent from the outside, but a conversion enquiry is a different budget, a different timescale and usually a different company entirely. The campaign copy is written to make the distinction obvious before anyone fills anything in.

The questions we ask loft boarding enquiries

Enough to price roughly in your head before you've reached the van.

  • Storage or conversion

The single most useful qualifying question in this trade.

  • Rough loft area

Part-loft, half, or the whole thing.

  • Current access

Existing ladder, drop-down hatch, or a chair and hope.

  • Insulation depth

Determines whether raised boarding is needed.

  • Extras wanted

    Ladder, hatch, lighting, power.

  • Postcode and timescale

So you can plan the run of jobs sensibly.

Lower job values mean the numbers matter more

We won't pretend loft boarding is the same economics as a £15,000 garden room. When average jobs are smaller, cost per enquiry has to be tighter, follow-up has to be quicker, and route density across a town matters. That's exactly the sort of thing we'd work through with you before spending anything.

More on that in how we review the numbers.

Loft boarding company questions

Can you keep loft conversion enquiries away?

That's one of the main jobs of the campaign. Adverts and landing page copy are written around storage and boarding, and the qualifying questions filter out anyone imagining a bedroom with a dormer.

Our jobs are smaller than most on your site. Does it still work?

It can, but the maths has to stack up. Loft boarding is usually a lower ticket than gates or garden rooms, so cost per enquiry matters more and campaigns often lean on multi-room jobs, add-ons and tight local targeting. We'll be straight with you about it.

Do you advertise ladders and hatches separately?

Often, yes. A ladder or hatch enquiry is a cheap way to start a conversation that frequently ends up as a full boarding job once someone's up there.

Are the enquiries exclusive to us?

The campaign is built for your business and Home Service Installs does not resell your enquiries to other loft boarding companies.

One product. One price.
